How come when I start my computer I get a "Runtime Error...Visual C++" error?

Every time I start my computer I am greeted with a "Microsoft C++ Visual Library" error. It reads, " Program...ogram files/common files/sonic/update manager/sgtray.exe". And "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusal way. Please contact the application's support team for more information." What does this mean an more importantly HOW DO YOU GET RID OF IT?! Thanks!

How come when I start my computer I get a "Runtime Error...Visual C++" error?
This is a portion of the backup software you've got installed(probably RecordNow) . Something seems to be wrong with it.

I'd suggest looking at the vendor's website for an update and install that first.

If that doesn't work, then go into the application and change its settings so it doesn't start at boot-up, or remove the application from your registry at:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\

SOFTWARE\

Microsoft\Windows\

CurrentVersion\

Run
Reply:Hi there - sorry but this answer is not for this question. It's for the question you asked: How come P (Program AE) mode on my Rebel XT has a faster shutter speed than my A (aperture Priority) mode?

I can't send you an email so I hope you dont mind me posting this answer here. Anyway, I found the problem. On a sunny day with now clouds in sight, Aperture Priority, Program AE, Auto etc will all give the same shutterspeed. But if it were a cloudy, overcast or anything of the likes, the light levels are constantly changing by the second. Even if you quickly changed from one mode to the other, the light level would have changed enough for the camera to rip out a different exposure setting.
Reply:You can try this tool to fix it:

Good luck!
