Runtime error?

can somebody help me troubleshoot my computer problem so i will not pay high repair service fee....


there is always an error message appering 5mins or more after i turn on my computer...





the error message goes like this:

(x) Runtime Error!





Program: C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe





This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Pls. contact the aaplications support team for more information.

after this error message appears, my computer starts to hang and not works for about 1hr or more...

Runtime error?
this file is a system file and the windows need it in oreder to run normally.





if you have your windows CD you can put it and repair the windows.





otherwise you have to reinstall it.

Reply:try to use the SFC from run command.


notes: you should have a CD for the Windows XP to complete the operation, it should work.


just open Run command from Start menu, type SFC /scannow then Click OK.
Reply:think what you last install on da pc . that is what is doing this when you find out go to start %26gt;control panel %26gt;add remove and remove that lost thing you install. option 2 %26gt;%26gt;start all programs accories%26gt;system tools %26gt;system restore .%26lt;%26lt;from here you can send da pc back to a point where it was working fine . then you pick da date then hit next and wait for it to reset ur pc back it may take 10 or 20 min to do so . this will save you having to go to some rip off
