A pop up box comes up a lot when I am signed in that says Micorsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library and if I click OK to make it go away it signs me off the internet. What causes this to pop up?

Your browser may be corrupt, or more likely, you have caught a virus/spyware/bad guy.
Fire up your antivirus software, anmd run Ad-Aware and Spybot.
