H E L P ! Microsoft Runtime Error?

When creating a document in Microsoft Word 2002 I've been getting an error message:


Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library


Runtime Error!


Program: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\WINWORD.EXE


abnormal program termination





How do I fix this? I have not opened older documents for fear of losing them.

Your word.exe five has been corrupted somehow, you will have to do a re-install. Just so you know, it might have been caused by a crash whilst word was running and a piece of word's source code (1's and 0's) got jumbled up and is giving your Microsoft C++ (type of code) engine a red flag.
Reply:Don't worry about the other documents. All it is is Microsoft Word. You shouldn't use Microsoft word and everything will be fine.
