I am really clueless about my laptop, and today it won't let me upload photos to a particular website. It tells me there is a runtime error and that runtime wants to terminate the program in an unusual way. I don't have any toolbars installed, so that isn't the problem. Can anyone suggest anything???

Its probably either the site is having problems or IE got corrupted.
If you want to try to reinstall IE, go into Control Panel %26gt; Add or Remove Programs %26gt; Add/Remove Windows Components. Uncheck IE. Go through all the steps to remove it. Go back into Add/Remove Windows Components. Re-check IE and let it install again.

Also Direct X does not update automatically, you need to go and find the latest update from Microsoft themselves! Finally check the Konami/Pro evo websites see if there is an update patch for your game.

Reply:You usually get that error when you write c++ code in one program and then rey to open it in another, so there possibly isn't much you can do with a game of that type.
Check you have the correct system requirements, un-install and install again and keep pestering Konami!!

Reply:sometimes with windows xp and service pack two it causes games to not run right I had that problem with a game and had to litterly reformat the whole hard drive fresh install XP and service pack 2 along with everything else. My advice to you is go to the website of the company that makes the game and see if this similar problem has happened and what they suggest to fix it. Good luck those aren't fun errors to fix. As for a patch from Microsoft there isn't one that I know of.

Can anyone help me with Visual C++ runtime error? - "The application has terminated in an unusual way."
I had a problem with the VirusBurst and was up all night trying to fix it, which eventually, thankfully, I did. However upon reboot, I kept getting a CLI application error (Failed to initialise properly - 0xc0000135) which after some Googling, I found was a problem with the ATI Catalyst and needed an installation of .Net Framework so I decided to install V1.1. So far so good. Installed dotnetfx.exe quickly and easily. BUT (why does there *always* have to be a "but"? That would make a good question on its own methinks! lol) when I try to install the SP1 security fix, I keep getting:-

whenever i try to open "ms word 2007 " , i get an error stating "an attempt has been made to load the ms c runtime library incorrectly ".[ windows xp sp2 ].pls help .but iam able to open the powerpoint and excel 2007 .

control panel%26gt;Add and remove programs%26gt;
select microsoft office 2007 click remove then you will get a screen Whether to repair or modify or uninstall.
there you select repair . this will repair any file missing ..
second thing is that even i use to get similar errors when i havenot installed service pack 2 .so reinstall it..

there are lots of virus' in those share sites...sounds like you have one. I hope you have protection like Norton Mechanic and many others. I do, just erase the file and try to re-install but not till you have run all security test and all is running well........good luck... ;)

I am trying to finish my migration from MusicMatch to Yahoo.. I have my keys and some of my music over now but when I try to add a folder ( Like my Shared) to bring the rest over I get this error and it shuts me down..
