When I try to run Napster, I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library, Runtime Error. How do I fix this?

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Program Files\Napster\napster.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Napster, and that didn't work, so I figure it must have something to do with Microsoft. Anyone have any clue what's causing this error, and/or how to fix it?

Hi,

The problem isn't with Napster, the problem is that you just need to update your Visual C++ runtime libraries. When software is created with the Microsoft Visual C++ programming language, they often need certain componants, if you don't already have these componants installed on your computerthen you can update them with the runtime library installation file directly from Microsoft, just go to this website for more info/instructions

[Download file is 2.6mb]
Reply:This is actually not the correct answer. I received the correct answer in an e-mail.

Correct Answer: Conflict with the burner, best way to fix this is to go to http://www.napster.com/techsup... and then go to "Napster Burn Engine" Report It

Reply:You may need an updated runtime library. It is called msvcrt.dll.
